In 1993, David Price was convicted and sentenced to prison after committing the crimes of felonious assault and aggravated robbery in Franklin County, Ohio. In 2005, Price received an additional conviction and sentence for possessing a deadly weapon while under detention in Ross County. Price was transferred to the Warren Correctional Institution and was again found to be in possession of a dangerous weapon in 2007. The weapon he possessed in the Warren County case was a 12-inch sharpened metal rod with a taped handle.
